Vit E oil. Coconut oil. Best on curly types. Depends on your hair type man

Pomade is a great one if you dont like your hair to be too stiff. If you prefer a slightly more strong hold though, I would say forming cream. AXE actually makes some really good and cheap gel alternatives.

There's a variety (as listed by previous posts) but in general you could use the following (and not limited to):

                      1. Wax: if you want a stronger hold and plan to keep a particular style for a longer amount of time (products from Hanz De FukoΒ  and By Vilain are awesome and keeps your hair consistently in place plus you can choose different types of finishes = a.k.a. semi-matte, matte etc. pricey but imo worth it)

                      2. Mousse: for a very light hold plus these products usually come with extra benefits like moisturizing properties if you desire πŸ™‚ they're pretty easy to use and usually doesn't weigh your hair (just feels natural but depending on product)

                      Have fun experimentingΒ  πŸ˜‰

I'm gonna go with wax too. Especially bees wax but also mineral wax. It is easy to use, doesn't leave the awkward white bits on your hair, and it doesn't damage it (in fact natural wax helps your hair regenerate since it contains vitamins and minerals needed for good hair). Wax is also flexible, it doesn't harden your hair like gel does and it can be modified with just a couple of touches and twists even hours after applying it. The only downside I can think of is that it doesn't wash off easily, but it's not a huge problem since a little bit of hair conditioner can solve that! Once you try wax, you never go back 😎 😎 😎

As for that, I have actually heard that it can work as an alternative to hair gel haha never tried it, but maybe it works πŸ˜› πŸ˜›

I think wax is the best option. Hair spry sounds like a decent idea too.

aloe vera gel. It isn't strong like a wax or a hair gel but It helps the styling if you like more natural effect.
