Gay Friend in London

I live in Central London but am so clueless about 'gay life' as I have no gay friends and am quite new to this world.
Was hoping someone could get in touch with me and tell me what is available/anything I am missing out on so I don't feel as clueless as I do now. Anyone youngish would be cool and perhaps we can even hit up a club together if you wanted.
Not trying to find a date here just genuinely looking for some help / a friend. Someone in London only please!
