As someone who is black, I think it's sad that theres people who see nothing wrong with this.
And I have no idea where the above person went to school that white people apparently treat him like a circus monkey, but I haven't known anyone to do that.

In any case, I don't care what kind of discrimination you think you're facing. It's nothing compared to what it was 60 years ago and they didn't have "Safe spaces" back then. All this does is promote minorities to staying in their own little bubble, which is only gonna hurt them in the long run when they realize to obtain any kind of success in the real world they're going to have to step out of it eventually. Not going to get very far in this country without interacting with white people.

        @raphjd:

Vocal Minority? To be honest, the only time I EVER hear about SJWs is when other people on the internet complain about them.

        That is what you said.

Where in that statement do yo admit they exist?   Nowhere.

You want people to think SJWs only exist in the minds of those that complain about them.

What? So I have to admit everything exists before I talk about them? Where did you admit that Trump exists? Nowhere.

This is ridiculous. Stop making strawmen to argue against because I never said SJWs exist. It's really not that hard man.

Ok, so we have people that see nothing wrong with it.   I wonder if they are also fine with WHITE ONLY spaces?    Or are they anti-white racists who believe that the other races deserve special rights.

Forcing white people to walk through a creek so they can get to class shows just how anti-white racist college campuses are getting.    If white did that to anyother race, it wouldn't be allowed.  The police would have broken it up and arrested people, if it was anything other than anti-white.

Social media actively bans people for "wrong think"; ie anyone who's to the right.     YouTube lets black supremacists, who advocate violence against whites, to stay.  Yet they do not allow white supremacists to stay.   Twitter explained why it bans for things like #KillAllBlacks, but not #KillAllWhite with some mental gymnastics/apologetics about social justice.   Facebook has done the same.

White hating has become a virtue in the West.

Seriously, go back through the various threads we've talked about this in.  If you are honest, you have portrayed SJWs are mythical beasts that only exist in the minds of the evil right's minds.

I peronally saw Trump years ago while I was in Atlantic City.      He was about 15 feet away from me, as he walked by.

Who said GT.ru is a "safe space" like the SJWs want?    We don't ban people because of their race, political leanings, etc.    We ban for their personal actions on the site.

We are not social media that bans for "wrong think".    You can speak your mind here, as long as you aren't just name calling.    Derailing a conversation, to complain about the topic or individual posters, could also get you in trouble.

Wow get a grip on yourself. I'm just pointing out the hypocrisy in MY OPINION.

You threatening me with getting into trouble because you don't understand or like my comment  is really completely out of line. Let me tell you that you can't get me into trouble, if I can not speak my mind and have to follow your orders on this forum, have fun with that, I will not be part of such a forum.

Talking about the "existence" of SJW's and acting the same way as you accuse them of. That kind of hypocrisy I'm talking about. Completely ridiculous.

Disagree what you like, but that is my opinion, regardless of the differences you might see/want to throw at it.

Where did I threaten you?   No where did I say anything about punishing your for your comment.   I think you read way too much into what I said.

My reply was a fact based response to your comment.   We are not your favorite social media sites that punish for "wrong think" or being politically incorrect.

Unlike social media, we treat white supremacists, black supremacists and any other supremacists the same.

Claremont McKenna College creates a "safe space" where students can be free from white people

Imagine the outrage if anyone even attempted to get a White only student group on campus.   It would be called racist by the other single race student groups.   You know, racial equality and all that.

Yeah but I believe white people segregated PoC because they thought they were inferior and beneath them while safe spaces are simple places where they can speak or meet without getting attacked.

Maybe i'm wrong since I don't know much about it, but isn't a AA meeting a safe space?, isn't every gay bar? or even this site?, this site won't exclude straight people, but if I say something about my sexuality and someone said something homophobic to me, I guess it will get automaticly banned, so i won't be afraid to speak. If I show up to a AA meeting with a bottle of vodka to laught at the people, I don't expect a warm welcome either.

I don't honestly see the issue with safe spaces, and thinking that letting minorities meet will hatch hate propaganda or whatever sounds like a load of bullshit to me.
It's like saying you are uncofortable with muslims meeting because they may be plotting to bomb something?

I also don't see why people hate SJW so much, it's pretty much like feminism, it tries to do what's best for the rights it represents, but not everything a feminist says is the absolute truth, they could say something offensive, they could have wrong ideas, but that doesn't bring down all that they represent or the good that they are trying to make.

The only thing that scares me about safe spaces is that they might be targeted by racist people who think that this places are a threat to them 😞

then again, I don't know much about it, but it just sounds like white people whining because they can't have something and now they are throwing tantrums and pouting (and i'm white as fuck myself), let them have that café that you won't ever step in anyways…

I'm not sure when social justice became a dirty word, but social justice activists/warriors/whatever are largely responsible for winning the freedoms that millions of LGBT people enjoy today.

There is nothing wrong with minorities (ethnic, sexual or otherwise) having spaces or affinity groups where they can openly discuss controversial topics without fear of harassment. It may make you uncomfortable, but we should resist the urge to impose political correctness on speech we don't like.

What kind of discrimination I "think" I'm facing? I know what the hell I saw and what I experienced at Clemson University. You can look up the "black parties" they had for yourself and see that I am not lying. I transferred to the University of South Carolina and had similar incidents happen to me. AND WHITE PEOPLE HAVE TOUCHED MY HAIR ON SO MANY OCCASIONS THAT I HAVE LOST COUNT. Do not dare try to tell me what my life experiences are or try to compare my life experiences to whatever "bubble" you yourself live in. And no one said anything about not interacting with white people. I work with white people and I have lived with white people as roommates and what I've learned is not only are racists a very small minority of our population, non-racist whites RARELY SPEAK OUT AGAINST REAL INSTANCES OF RACISM. I've had roommates come to me and tell me their friend used racial slurs when talking about me but those same roommates failed to speak out against it. So no, I do not believe closing ourselves off completely to white people is the answer. The answer is for white people who aren't racist to SPEAK OUT AGAINST RACISM. Why is that so freaking hard for them?? Lastly, this is the biggest misconception about safe spaces. I DO NOT HATE WHITE PEOPLE. I DO NOT THINK WHITE PEOPLE ARE INFERIOR TO BLACK PEOPLE. BLACK PRIDE DOES NOT EQUAL WHITE HATE. WHITE PRIDE/POWER IS DIRECTLY TIED TO WHITE SUPREMACIST THEORY AND TERRORISM. You can ask Dylann Roof all about it, or do you think he doesn't exist either?

In modern times, it's not whites demanding segregation.    But, you comment is exactly what would happen.  People would accuse whites of being racist for asking for their own "safe space".    You're pretty self-loathing to think that racial equality for ALL races is racist.

There are 2 types of "safe spaces" when talking about college campuses.    The 1st type is alike the AA meetings you mentioned.  The 2nd type is the "Happiness Hut"  in the Adam's Family movie the Wednesday was locked in for not smiling.

GT.ru isn't a safe space, in that we allow everyone to have a voice, even if some don't like what they say.    Polite/civil discussions are always allowed unless they violate the rules on illegal topics.

Did you read the articles in the links as well?  The group demanding the safe space this thread talks about is extremely white-hating racists.

Feminism is solely based on lies and man-hating.  SJWs are similar.    I discuss these issues in other threads so no need to go over them again here.

Why do you not see the issue of special rights in the guise of racial equality?

                                        @inkball:

LOL, you don't even realize what you said, do you.    You really need to re-read your last sentence again.   It partially answers your opening statement.

In the guise of equality, we need to discriminate against certain groups.   Yeah,  we hear that from some feminists as I've mentioned elsewhere.

SJW became a slur when you have that South African girl in the US college saying that science as we know it is false because white men invented it.   That black Africans KNOW that magic is real.

SJW became a slur when social media bans for racism against non-whites, but not for racism directed at whites.

SJW became a slur when it's acceptable to force white students to walk through a creek to get to class and nobody really cares, but if the races were reversed, everyone would lose their fucking minds.

SJW became a slur when SJWs demanded safe spaces for anyone who wants them, except for those SJWs don't like.

SJW became a slur when feelings mean more than facts.

SJW became a slur when SJWs think it's acceptable to pour piss on a reporter's head for questioning people about there being unlimited genders.

SJW became a slur when SJWs constantly false flag themselves and blame it on the other side.  (smugly-puff when he/she/it was in high school, among many, many others)

SJW became a slur when because they think it's ok to use violence against anyone they deem to be the enemy.

SJW became a slur when it's ok to punch a reporter in the face (Lauren Southern) then smugly lie to the police. (smugly-puff)

SJW became a slur when it's ok to physically attack a retired couple walking their dog because they look like someone who might oppose your views. (smugly-puff)

SJW became a slur when they demanded that only they have free speech.

                                        The list is never ending.

                                            @kaeyresky:

Do you speak out against anti -white racism or do you believe that anti-white can not exist?

Your views are at the very least BORDERING on racism, in that you claim black pride isn't racist, but white pride is.

This is where I'm betting you will change the dictionary definition of racism to show that only whites can ever be racist.
