      @JohnEryn:

      Oh, I feel a little bad after reading you. Of Celine Dion I only have listened to My Heart Will Go On (Titanic) and I'm Alive, I guess that even if I liked her voice she didn't interested me enough to hear whole albums of her. The same happens with Houston and Carey, of Whitney I only know the main song of The Bodyguard and from Mariah just a few songs. Of Spears I only really liked Toxic when I was a child and didn't bother listening to her other songs and albums. In Adele's case, I have heard all her albums, and only really liked 21, but I also enjoyed a little 25. I haven't listened the others female singers that you mentioned.

      About the male singers, I only have heard Beyond the sea from Williams bc it was part of the soundtrack of Finding Nemo. Of Jackson only Thriller, that was part of my nightmares as a child. A few of Ricky, but I never liked him or his music.

      About the bands, I like Daft Punk too! But I only have heard their album of 2013.

      I only listen to Daft Punk 'Random Access Memories' (2013) too, mostly because I'm curious how come an electronic album won Grammy's Album Of The Year, turns out, I love it. "Get Lucky" is my most favorite.

      “Giorgio by Moroder” is my most favorite of that record.  🙂

        @SemenDemon:

        To be honest, many of these (*)'s indicating complete collections are padded out with illegal digital downloads, but I would buy physical copies of all the albums if I could afford them. I love physical media, and I like to support the artists who have done so much to enrich my life in any way I can when possible (though a lot of my physical collection also consists of second-hand copies, too, so it's not like they made any money off of those purchases). I will buy any format when I can afford it, even 8-tracks! Also, a lot of the female entries could also count for bands/groups, because I don't seem to have a ton of beloved solo female artists. None of these are in any particular order, because I can't pick favorites. I also realize much of the stuff I like is not going to be everyone's cup of tea. Some of it is downright silly in its melodrama, but I genuinely adore all of it.

        We share some points. I would buy all physical copies of my favorite singers and bands If I could. The problem is not only money in my case, but that most of my taste in music isn't available in the CD stores of my country. So even If I could afford it, the only option is buying it in an online store, and that means dollars (my country doesn't have many of them, of course). So I don't have many choice but use illegal downloads as you do too…  :blownose:

        You could get an idea of my little collection of physical copies seeing it, so here it's:

        You actually have Celine Dion Live in Vegas physical copy! lol  😄 ;D

        Yeah, I know. I actually bought it just to try to hear more of her music, but, as I said, I only have liked “I'm Alive” and “My Heart Will Go On”, so…  ::) 😕

          I still don't know that I'm actually a gay

          Wait a second! Are you implying that maybe you are bi? Bc if you aren'þ gay or bi, how could you be here? It would be very paradoxical or ironic.  ::) ???

          Actually, no and I'm 100% gay, I don't believe in "bi" term. I was implying that I live in a very strong culture people and strong religion. I didn't know anything about gay stuff until I was in high school.

            Oh, now I got it. It's the same case for me (the strong culture and religion of my country).  😕

                      Tonight, my favourite singer is Beck; Sea Change is a great album.

                        Females:

                        1. Whitney Houston - Hex Hector turned her best vocal into a true club music diva anthem: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aX29tzHdWiE
                        2. Toni Braxton - her debut album "Toni Braxton" can be played start to end, no skips. "You're Makin' Me High" from "Secrets" is SO sexy!
                        3. Donna Summer - There's tons of disco classics, but there are also vocal gems like "On the Radio" or "Dim All the Lights".
                        4. Mary J. Blige - "What's the 411?", "My Life", and "Mary" are truly classic albums, even to this day. No one conveys pain/heartbreak like MJB.
                        5. Shania Twain - "You're Still the One", "From This Moment On", and "Any Man of Mine".

                        (I'm leaving off names like Mariah, Christina, Annie Lennox, et al to bring some new names to the table, but I still had to put Whitney and Toni on the list!)

                        Males:

                        1. Prince - the vocal on "Adore" gets me every time. How this was never released as a single is beyond me. He was a musical genius.
                        2. Luther Vandross - When you do a cover song live on TV 1000x better than the original: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gQ9ZVGM7smE
                        3. Michael Jackson - The man had talent. I prefer 70s "Off the Wall"  and 90s "Dangerous" MJ more than 80s MJ.
                        4. Stevie Wonder - "Superstition", "Sir Duke", "As", "Signed, Sealed, Delivered", "I Wish", "Lately", "Ribbon In the Sky" and so much more.
                        5. Phil Collins - There's his Genesis period.  I love "One More Night". But, "Against All Odds/Take A Look At Me Now" is iconic. 80's MOR music.

                        Groups:

                        1. U2 - I have every U2 album. I will always be a fan. Some seriously great stuff from the "Unforgettable Fire" through "Achtung Baby" period.
                        2. Earth, Wind, and Fire - "Shining Star", "Reasons", "That's the Way of the World", "September", "After the Love Has Gone" and more.
                        3. The Police - "Message In a Bottle." "Synchronicity" album. Sting solo career.
                        4. Santana - "Supernatural" is great. The early stuff is great too. They go back to Woodstock!
                        5. Wham - "Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go", "Careless Whisper" and the George Michael solo career.

                        I grew up listening to music in the 80's, so my choices go back a bit. Good music is still out there, it's just that there's also a lot more crap you have to dig through.

                          From your favorite female singers, I only have heard of Houston, even though I haven't heard her music.

                          I never felt any interest in Prince, but I hope he rest in peace. About Collins, I really liked the songs he made for “Tarzan” (1999), but I prefer the music from Peter Gabriel as a solist (yeah, I know they were together in Genesis).

                          I respect U2, but the only album I can hear whole and think about it as a masterpiece is “All That You Can't Leave Behind” (2000). And, maybe I'm wrong, but I thought that Santana was a solist not a band…
