yeah im excited as well! though i'll be playing it on Xbox One (when i actually get one lol). i cant wait to return to my biotics! and it would be nice if they had a gay romance option w/ an alien race. i was thinking it would be cool if they did an "all-male race", similar to what they did w/ the Asari. that would be super dope lol

They hurt me deep with the original Mass Effect 3 ending, but I don't think that they will be making the same mistakes. I hope for similar combat to ME3, with refinements and better AI. I hope that they keep the Paragon/Renegade system, even if it was binary at times. I loved going full renegade on my first playthrough (though I did not like the cosmetic consequences). I hope that the first game in what will have to be a series will be focused on a local threat and not immediately jump into a galaxy wide threat.

Yes! I'm excited! So long as EA does a half-decent job of not massacring the game, it should be good

My option is very unpopular here, but I was actually really happy with Mass Effects 3 ending, It actually brought tears to my eyes. I was never able to renegade throughout the game, only time I ever chose a renegade option was that guy who did the thing to Thane (don't wanna say spoilers!)

I don't think that opinion is popular anywhere. I really have trouble saying that there was any redeeming value to the ending, but if that's how you felt, more power to you.

I agree. I don't think it made any sense, but it was a refreshing take on the end of a game, to say the least. I was an asshole to everybody but my crew (because we were all friends :love:), but oddly I always choose the paragon option at the end. I just agree with it more, he was onto something the whole time. The galaxy could use it to grow, maybe to another Galaxy (the Andromeda galaxy, anyone?).
I believe they said that there will be nothing to do with Shepard and his crew, and everyone on Twitter is speculating that it will be much farther into the future. I think they're done with the last story line.

Im excited about this game but it's going to be a while still. But i really want an HD version of the first three games.

Bioware is going to mess it up….. they went downhill and they were never that good to begin with. Bioware was popular because they made mass effect, Which was different then your standard Medieval RPG, which has become stale. Bioware is also lazy and lacks finesse. Their games tend to lack detail and be very static. This makes open world very bad for them as it makes the lack of detail more noticeable.

I was actually a bit worried that they were going to turn Mass Effect into some kind of Gears of War clone but the more I read about the interviews, it seems like is going to be a proper RPG again.

I actually still worry about it being some cheap, original ripoff. with some of the featurettes, they seemed to have really dumbed it down. like the squadmates were just telling you what to do. seemed like a lot of handholding and really simple, linear gameplay. but ive heard so mucch to the contrary, im hoping my impressions are wrong
