My friend just came out, the fact is that he does have 3 other brother, including a girl, and ALL OF THEM are gay! i imagine how dificult it must be to his parents, families always have tought time in acceptance when it comes to ona only gay friends. Imagine some shit like this, how would you face this?

It's rare i guess, i have a lot of gay friends and no one has gay brother, but it would be very difficult for family but also enjoyable for brothers

Not to be a jerk, but I probably wouldn't face it by calling it "some shit like this". It's just a thing that exists. I'd hoped that by the time I was an adult, being gay wouldn't be a thing to be dealt with. It would just be…a thing.

          "Hey, Mom. I'm gay."
"Oh, that's cool. Help me get the groceries out of the car."

I'm not naive enough to think that's an absolute possibility, but one can hope. In response to the question, I actually did date a guy whose siblings were also gay. Two gay men and one lesbian-turned-male. She was a very accepting parent, he told me. As for how I'd personally deal with it, that's hard to say. As a gay man, what would it matter to me if all my kids were gay? And I can't speak to the heterosexual parenting experience because I'm not a heterosexual parent. All I can say is that I wish being gay wasn't cause for panic anymore.

I agree with petshop…don't call it a 'shit'.  Is not the end of the world...if someone is bent on having grandkids, the gay sons and daughters can always adopt or make use of artificial insemination and surrogate mothers.

I'll admit that some parents like to make their gay offspring feel bad by stating that 'luckily' they still have another son/daughter who is heterosexual...now, that's what I call real 'shit'.

If I decide to have a family I would accept all my sons/daughters even if they ended up being heterosexual.

It would be a very interesting case study in psychology, sexology and even sociology though.

If the family really has ''Asian'' values, as in having grand children & boys & stuffs like that, it's a really not a good thing to come out.
To me, if I were to have kids, the last thing I care about would be who he/she sleeps with. I want him/her to have a successful carreer, happy in life, and that's all to me. As long as my kids can manage that, I'm happy.

well, i heard that the gay gene is a result of competence between brothers, a man who has  a elder brother is more likely to carry the gay gene. but that might be not true…..

                          Hey,

I'm gay and so is my brother. I came out to everybody in 2014 (at age 24, yeah i know it's late. But i didn't think i had to until i got a boyfriend). My brother (who is a year older) came out of the closet a year later. It was really a struggle for him to tell our dad, hey dad 2 out of 2 are gay…

My dad however is really accepting and really doesn't care.
