5. Pride (2014)To be honest, Brokeback Mountain (2005) & Shelter (2007) are equally number 1 on my list, but because Brokeback Mountain (2005) was wide released and Best Picture nomination, gave it the advantage to be on the top spot.

Shelter is my all time favourite. I haven't seen a better gay themed movie since I watched this one /personally/. Jongens is another great Dutch movie that I watched recently.

I downloaded Shelter nearly three years ago and I am not sure I have watched it. Perhaps something for the longer nights which start on Sunday

I recommend everyone a little masterpiece called C.R.A.Z.Y. by Jean-Marc Vallée (2005).
Considered one of the 10 best Canadian movies of all time, 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, very talented cast, the main character is super cute and it has one of the best soundtracks ever put together for a movie.
It holds a special place in my heart because I watched it with my family and helped my father to start accepting my homosexuality.
