Went to see Inside Out last week and it was fantastic. So funny. Anger and Disgust were so funny though of course the star of the show was Joy. And poor Bing Bong, I'm not crying I have something in my eye!

I borrowed my niece and nephew to have an excuse to go and see it. Will be doing the same to see Minions.

            Yes I love them too!!!!
Though I can't say I am looking forward to the minions movie, mostly because I didn't really like them in despicable me.
Anyone else still holding out for an incredibles sequel? That is probably one of my favourite pixar movies of all time

i really enjoy a good animated movie too! however i wish there were more like "animated dramas" (that isn't anime, 'cause sadly that is not my cup of tea). i also like more vintage animation that isn't disney; like there are some real dark and pretty ones, like the secret of nimh (1982) for example. also; stop motion seem to be on the rise again to with some real gems like coraline (2009) and paranorman (2012)!

I'm not a huge fan of Pixar, Wall:E is the only film they made that I really love.
Studio Ghibli produce the greatest animated films in my opinion, especially Hayao Miyazaki.

Have you guys ever seen Little Nemo: Adventures in Slumberland? It was probably my favorite animated movie as a kid. It had a little bit of an anime look, but still had a Western feel.  To this day I still enjoy that movie–it's lighthearted but also very dark and intense!!

AAAAAA GHIBLI. I really love their color tone, so calm and nostalgic. The detailed backgrounds, the musics, the artstyle.. and dont forget the food! Ghibli is the best at animating food.

I also love Satoshi Kon's surreal animes. I have watched Paprika and Perfect Blue, they are all mindblowing! Looking forward for Paranoia Agent.

There are tons of great animated movies I've enjoyed- from both the US (Pixar/Disney) and Japanese animation as well.

Zootopia is one of the more recent favorites, and then there are the Studio Ghibli films like Spirited Away.

Tell someone you love them today, because life is short.
But shout it at them in German, because life is also terrifying and confusing.

I love animation but hate both Disney & Pixar. They are whitewashing everything. Personally, give me good unrated anime.

CGI animation, once perfected, was really cool when it was still fresh (Toy Story), but, given the over-saturation of 100% CGI animation films we have today, it just seems trite and lazy.

I don't care for much Disney and similar stuff outside of films from my childhood (nostalgia is a helluva drug). I like animation in general, though. I probably watch more cartoons than I do live action stuff.

Well, I might be picky when it comes to movies, but being an animation fan, I'd usually end up seeing all animated releases of the year. Even if it take a while to wait until they hit the home videos. This include the raunchy one like "Sausage Party" or the rather pointless ones like "Minions".
