Personally I would like to see the ability to respond directly to people who leave comments, especially when they pose a question. For those people who leave rude comments and hide behind a security wall that doesn't allow you to leave them a message as their security settings are such so you can't see anything and are also unable to send a message in response to theirs, it becomes very discouraging to continue uploading Themed movies. As someone who has only belonged to the site for a year and took my time to learn about torrents, how to create and how to upload, read all the quides the moderators have been great about leaving for members to read, I only started uploading torrents in the past three months and recently starting uploading Themed Movies (have over 3TB of them) but after the nasty comments I have come to the conclusion that my themed movies would be better off on other sites where the members seem to appreciate them and don't send nasty comments from behind security walls. Think About It and I'm sure I am not the only member who is ticked off about the lack of ability to respond to these people. :thx:

First of all, Bluesurfer, thank you for sharing. I don't know if I have downloaded any of your torrents, but most people really appreciate uploads.
Rude comments to people who are taking the time and trouble to post torrents are not excusable, especially by people not prepared to be open.
It is always possible to reply to comments made under a torrent or in the forums and you should.
And it is possible to send a private message to anyone, regardless of their security settings.

Not that I have ever come across rude people on here. (he says sarcastically) But if you find where they are saying anything out of line just report them to the mods. Every board will always have these types of issues but would be nice to as we see it just put a stop to it.

leeniedo is right. And a polite reply, in contrast to the original, in a public place can be quite effective

Bluesurfer, unfortunatelly the only way we will ever be safe and free from rude people is when we close all internet comment sections and shut ourselves from the world - specially the virtual world. It's that unfortunate… Just know that this is not a problem with you, it's a mankind's problem. Heavens only know what kind of stuff passes through these sad peoples' minds... all we can do is be superior to that and pay no attention to trolls, because it is well known they feed on attention. And if the comments are really abusive, you can allways report them - this forum is very well moderated and I've allways had very good, reasonable and satisfactory realtionship and feedback from moderators and admins.

I appreciate all the comments and glad to see (In a Sorry Way) that I'm not alone in having to deal with these people. Fortunately one of the members PM'd me and explained to me how to be able to reply to these members directly. It is not my intention to lower myself to their standard but rather to reply politely to their comments with the information they are ranting about and thanking them for their inquiry. While I agree the moderators here are great and very helpfull, I prefer to deal directly with these people… you know lead by example! I'm not the type of guy that takes cheap shots at other people, so you can be sure it will be done politely. Thanks again for the responses and advice. Have a great day!
