There's a new PS4 out there (PS4 PRO), does anyone knows if it's still worth buying the old PS4?
I'm not really into gaming, just like GTA and Metal Gear -
It's not out quite yet (November 10 2016). It's more powerful and able to play games at higher resolution/better graphics setting or lower settings and higher framerates. However, it's entirely up to game developers to implement the selectable settings, so it's not guaranteed for every game. Oh and multiplayer games will run at same framerate between old and new console models (usually meaning 30fps).
There's also a new slim model coming out on September 15th, which is same specs as older version, it's just smaller and uses a bit less power.
You'll be able to play all the games regardless of the model you have anyway. Slim will be 300$, Pro 400$. If 100$ doesn't mean all that much to you, i'd go for the Pro. Then again you said you're not much of a gamer, so it's up to you to decide.
