      @Minerboh80:

      There are many gay elements in Netflix's Jessica Jones.

      YEP! I've noticed it, thought was just me!

          Deadpool will probably the best chance to be the first openly gay mutant.

                Deadpool just came out, but other than a strange kiss in the beginning they don't really broach the topic of his bisexuality. While not a Movie "Jessica Jones" has a few lesbian scenes and is pretty open about it.

                Honestly Marvel doesn't seem to be embracing the LGBT market like DC comics. While I don't know of any movies at this time the shows "Arrow", "Flash", and "Legends of Tomorrow" all feature LGBT characters and have openly gay actors. My personal favorite is Victor Garber's character on Legends of Tomorrow, I personally get a kick out of seeing an openly gay actor play a character who spends half his time inside a young man.

                  I'm happy that DC is more open about gay or LGBT characters (I like DC more than Marvels to be honest), like we sees on Arrow and Flash, but I just realize that Arrow and Flash have openly gay actor played as supervillain. I don't know if its just a coincidence but it some ways it bother me a little. Do DC have some kind of intention to put an openly gay actor to play supervillain to make gay men looked bad?

                  Just a thought though  🙂

                      lol, yeah, I was pertaining to her. I don't think it's that official though. She just came close as being a superhero but I guess she really can be considered as one, even though it sounds funny.

                        Maybe I'm too militant, but I'm bothered by the scene where he couldn't take (and quickly refused) being fucked by a strap-on dildo.  To me, that scene screamed "DEADPOOL AIN'T NO GODDAMN QUEER, YOU FUCKING FAGGOTS!"  I admit that I could be over-reacting, and that Deadpool could still be an exclusively top bisexual, but the scene just seemed a little too….strategic to me.  Like it was trying to use humor to establish that Deadpool is totally heterosexual by showing his dislike for butt stuff.

                        @revenger:

                        Do you guys think is possible for us to watch in near future some Marvel's production with a gay super hero?

                        Absolutely not.  Disney/Marvel recently got into trouble for "white washing" the Ancient One.  They turned a Tibetan man into a white woman, just to avoid the slight possibly of pissing off China and not being allowed to release "Doctor Strange" there.  My point:
                        the mouse just wants cheese.  In spite of our advances in the civilized world, most of the planet still hates us.  Even in countries where people don't think they have the religious right to slaughter us, they're still not going to want to give the mouse any cheese in order to watch a fag in a cape.  We gays and our supporters couldn't possibly supply the profits Disney would want.  But that's all theoretical, since it hasn't been THAT long since the Disney/Miramax controversy.  If you want the mouse to shiver in fear, just whisper the word "Priest".

                        Revenger, I strongly suggest that you watch Agents of Shield.  Once in a loooong while, you will encounter a character named Joey.  Joey is a superhero…sort of.  He has no costume, he has no code name, and his powers are totally undefined (the Melter?  Molecule Man?  WHAT?!).
                        Joey is about as relevant to AoS as Matt was to Melrose Place, and just like Matt, he is played by a straight actor, and all of his "gay" moments are reduced to ultra-brief comments, as inoffensive as possible for the benefit of the easily offended.  The gayest thing Joey has ever done was when he and a guy sat in a car together (WITHOUT TOUCHING, of course) and discussed their date.....in a weird and clinical way.  And although I could be mistaken, I'm pretty sure that we've never even seen Joey shirtless.

                        Why would I suggest you watch this meaningless, throwback, crumb that Disney/Marvel has thrown to us?  Simple.  Because it's the closest we will ever come to seeing a live-action, gay Marvel superhero on screen.  (I mean the small screen.  Certainly NOT the silver one.)
