From what I research, even bb anal with a HIV positive has less than 0.05% chance of catching it. It's a risk, but minor.

Some years ago when medicine wasn´t that good and HIV lead to AIDS, yes condoms were good thing to use.
Getting HIV in the western part of the world is no longer a death sentence.
If you are infected and take the medicine as told by the doctor, you have so little virus in the body that you can´t infect others with HIV.
So get to know your partners status and play accordingly.
I don´t wish for anyone that they get infected, so use condoms when needed - and if you want to protect yourself for other sexual transmitted diesises. -

Holy cow, is this thread old. It was necro-bumped out of nowhere.
Bottom line, we have PrEP nowadays, so any negative person that wants to do bareback sex scenes should be on it. Also, anyone in the industry who knows themselves to be positive should have the condition controlled (down to undetectable viral loads) before doing porn. There would be no further transmission of the virus if those two measures were in place …. unless the performers had that fetish on the fringe of our culture where they WANT to become infected, at which point, it shouldn't be called a "scandal."
