I mean, the only time I'd expect a guy to not have armpit hair is if he is a:
a) Pro Bodybuilder
b) Pro Swimmer
c) Drag Queen -
Can't decide what to do with it, don't really see a benefit but don't want to be seen without.
When I shave my entire body I remove it. Just dont want my partners to lick the hairy armpit, it is awful. But I shave it when I will be getting it.

I"m not sure I understand the need for trimming because it's not like you display them on purpose.

Yes keep it… I don't mind if people trim... but unless its for a specific reason I think they should atleast have something under there to show they are a MAN

Definitely not, unless you're a bear or a daddy, cause in this body type it fits very well. Hairy armpit doesn't make you more masculine, it makes you nasty. A shaved body looks cleaner and more tender, just take a look at male models and some of the most famous pornstars.
