I have never contracted anything from eating ass. This might be because I will only do it if they're freshly showered, like within minutes and if they're sure nothing is due to exit their body...haha.

Anything that comes out from the body is sterile … hygienically clean. I.E Urine and stool. As soon as these come into contact to the dirty bits like the tip of the penis or an unwashed anus then it become contaminated.
Generally, what I'm trying to say is that there are more bacteria found in the mouth than in the ass. But yeah. It is gross but if you and your partner take precautions of becoming clean then the risk of infection is lesser.
