Do you prefer meeting someone to date online or in everyday life (work, bar)?

I prefer it in everyday life… but it's so hard to find! It never happens with me :cry2:

Where I'm from gay people are persecuted so I have to search online

I prefer building friendships/relationships that started from meeting in real life by far(!), though most gay guys I've met and dated were from online, lol.
I try both, and though I'm very used to the latter, the former is like 10x better in my opinion… I'm talking about connecting with others in a place of common ground or interest though -- not just going out in bars or in clubs, which is not really my scene.

I prefer to meet person in real life not through internet, it feel me with reality

I think that meeting someone in everyday life is better, but I'm old school
-
I cannot meet people in my everyday life so I have to stick to the internet

With my kind of work, I prefer in everyday life coz of the face to face encounter, 3 of my now closed friends (with benefits) started by meeting them by chance and we started dating everytime I went to their respective town (work related out of town)

I hate meeting people in real life via the internet. That goes for anyone, including platonic friends and women. My anxiety sucks, and the stress it causes when seeing someone I "know" online face to face is enough to give someone a fucking stroke.
As such, I prefer to meet someone in the flesh before building any kind of "rapport" with them, regardless of what our relationship (or lack thereof) entails. I still have to deal with a lot of anxiety, but it's at least without all the pre-concieved notions and uncertainty that comes with first "meeting" people on the internet vs. first meeting them in real life.
