My main "significant other" and I got together in 1982 when I was a senior at Cal, and he was a campus employee. He's 78, and I'm 56.

My other SO of over 20 years, I met when I was a temp. campus employee in the department where he worked. He's also 56.

Definitely not your "normal" relationship. I don't live with either one. They're similar in so many ways, but so completely different. More often than not, it seems like I have 2 more "moms," as they are (strangely) so much like her; but again, nothing at all alike. (However, it is kind of freaky that my mom's b-day is Jan. 1, my main's, 8 days later on the 9th, and my other's is 8 days after that, Jan. 17!)
