Adding News Files to the Folder of a Torrent

Is it possible to add a file to a folder of the torrent I already made and shared?

I want to add to the collection I shared, and noticed that the update option would only let me choose one file and not the folder.  (I tried selecting the new file, but it didn't work.)

Will the new file be automatically part of the torrent once I put in my computer's folder? Or do I need to take down the torrent and create a new one?

I also noticed that total torrent size of files didn't change on my torrent's page, so it must not have been included. How could I go about adding a file?

The simple answer is that you can add to the folder but the original torrent will stay the same.

The torrent checks the files it was made from so to include a new file you would need to create a new torrent with all the files.

Gotcha. That's what I was suspecting haha.

You can change the file (if there's only one), but not add a file. I wish they'd make the latter an option, if it wouldn't be too complicated. But till then, oh well…
