I have read more than a little about Kirk Cameron, and I have written to his website, in very general terms questioning their stance on homosexuality (surprise! no response.) It is sad and hateful etc. But he speaks about a lot of other things, and he is not a closet case just because he concurs with his brand of fundamental Christianity's view of homosexuality.

The truth is God is love, not hate. Remember where the Son of God said to love your neighbor as yourself. You see the innocence and honesty of the very young. The Son of God said "Let the little children come to me. They are an example of the kingdom of heaven." Wouldn't it be nice to be accepted and loved rather than rejected and hated. I am a believer who, despite my human imperfections, try to live and practice this, not preach it. What could a person like Kirk Cameron practice to demonstrate what he preaches?

Kirk's wifey has been in the news this week for an interview in which she was nonplussed to be asked to defend "creationism" – the preposterous claim that the entire universe is only 6,000 years old. Ignore the Grand Canyon, carbon dating, the time it takes light to arrive on Earth from outside our solar system....
And his sanctimonious judgmentalism is again in the news because his new movie is apparently one of the worst of all time. That's no way to "save Christmas," but all these holy rollers are terribly fragile, just supersensitive shrinking violets in need of a fainting couch. Reportedly, the movie really IS very bad. Not "so bad it's good," just so bad it's terrible.
As for the original subject line, "Kirk Cameron tells everyone how to 'witness to gays'," he COULD just drop his pants, wiggle his naughty bits at the camera, and taunt the unsaved with remarks like, "Big one, isn't it? He may not be even a little bit heteroflexible (which would pretty much be a perverse anomaly on its own), but for a strait man, he sure does spend a lot of time thinking about the kind of fun other dudes can have. Maybe it's because every fag wants to bugger him (and every other "real" man, of course) because that's what sissy boys and girly men do.

I doubt that it's big, having watched him in a few things, including a movie in which he runs around in very skimpy shorts. It's almost certainly quite average. Nevertheless, I would pay to watch the movie you describe

And what is there in the prev. paragraph that has anything to do with how their creator has authorized Cameron and his cohort to ignore the instructions to, as Ted Logan helpfully translated the original, "Be excellent to each other"?
Or, maybe being a family man just is not fulfilling enough to take up all his extra time now that he has no career left. And perhaps how "straight" he is has become an unavoidable issue best tackled by plunging into that Egyptian river.

If you are a former childstar, have no job but need the attention that's the best thing to do. He even has his own "hategroup" now. Does Jonathan Taylor Thomas has a hategroup?
He's just like Jesus. He goes to the people and brings good tidings to them. Ok, he doesn't sit with the whores but lectures them and informes them they will BURN or something. But those are details. He knows: being a betterknowing moralistic asshole is the best part of being a christian at all.

And he's still in the acting business. His last major hit "Saving Christmas" of 2014 has a fantastic rate of 1,6/10. I have never seen such a remarkable rating at imbd. :crazy2:
