What is the best game you've ever played?

Skyrim was really great, really loved that game.
But I like the old Zelda-games. Link's awakening to Game Boy is a classic.
At the moment I play Monster Hunter 4 on my 3DS and Elder Scroll's Online on XBOX one.

To me, there is no better game than GoldenEye for the N64.

Metroid Prime. I couldn't stop playing the damn thing. For three days, I only slept a few hours at a time. I was so excited for the game that my brain kept waking me up so I could play more.

Mass Effect 2, because it's the most difficult of the trilogy and Dragon Age: Awakening.

Final Fantasy II (Rydia/Kain) - there wasn't any confusion, the story was awesome, and unlike a vast majority of todays, you're not bombarded with extra content - that you have to pay more for (I really miss the days when you just bought a game and could play it start to end without an OCD of missing paid content >_> to ruin it)
God of War series is pretty good too. I loved figuring out the puzzles.

GameCube was a superb console. -
I have fond memories of eighties coin-ops.
I was just a child and I was mesmerized by games like space invaders, moon patrol, wonderboy, ghosts'n'goblins, 1942…
But if I have to choose one, I would say Bubble Bobble. I really adored that game (and even its sequel Rainbow Islands… wait a minute, how gay was that?!?) -
