Shaving for me leads to some skin irritation, but trimming with a machine, on the other hand, is more likely to cut me.
I usually let hair grow for a while, down there, because it's not much a problem for me (more much itch on back/chest/belly than the pubes), so I shave every 2-3 month…

I think that I'll just shave my balls and trim everything else instead from now on. It seems like too much effort.
