Every time you get rid of them, their eggs hatch and you have to do it all over again

        It's a long(ish) term treatment plan.

you can never do just one treatment, because as you say, their eggs will hatch after the treatment is done.  Your timing has to be exact to kill the new ones, but rarely are humans that good, so you'll need to do more treatments.

Can you be more specific about the species? Any photos?

If your bugs are of the bed variety you do not get rid of them by yourself you let the professionals do it.

YES, it depends on what kind of bugs they are.    Most you can do yourself, but some require professionals to do because of how toxic the chemicals are.

Steaming for a long duration does the job 🙂

Well there's pest control companies, should cost quite a bit.
and they sell products which can keep off those pests so..

In the military barracks they use require you to shave completely for a long period of time
(even if you completed the treatment) in this cases,
and when I say completely I mean completely.
