      Hi everyone 😄

Do any of you know of any workout routines that are easy to do at home?

I really want to start building a little muscle and to get more defined, but will only be able to join a gym next year. Any advice is welcome.

      Thanks in advance.

Pretty much the normal exercises; pushups, jumping jacks, etc.

For weight loss, calisthenics works along with jogging
For chest & shoulders, push up and chin ups
For legs and butt, squats side lefts (download the List from this site)

If you need weights, think outside the box.  Cat litter, flour, tires are all good.

no, your not going to be like a body builder just a fit person, it makes you faster and improves endurance, exercising muscles regularly makes daily activities alot easier and can decrease time spent.

Actually, there are tons of home routines for working out. Just check a little on the web and you're bound to find something useful to you.

As other posters have stated above, exercises like chin ups, pull ups and sit ups which use your own weight are ideal for doing at home and makeshift weights are easy to come by. Guess that all that matters is your own drive.

Just remember to have everything ready from work out routines and healthy food in the fridge.

Take care and good luck!  :hug2:

If you have access to the web, and it's obvious that you do, I would suggest Athlean-X. It's a series of YouTube videos that show you how to get the most out of a home work out. There's another as well that focuses more on body weight workouts which can be just as effective.

Buy an olympic weight bar and plyo-box and do a bodyweight circuit (bar for certain exercises). Alternate core, legs, arms. Examples of exercises include squats, curls, presses, bench dips, jump-ups, step-ups, sit-ups, planks, push-ups, lunges, etc.
