Does anyone here play GW2? I used to play as an Engineer, then quit for a while. It looks like an expansion is coming soon with elite specializations to add some new skills to classes, so I'm thinking about getting into it again. Plus, you can make some pretty sexy characters.  😉

I just finished playing GW2 before going here actually  ;D
Trying my hand at making a legendary weapon but I always get lazy and put it off. But I do enjoy seeing my skimpily-clad warrior run around hitting things  😛

I don't play any GW2 at the moment but I have a lot in the past. Maybe I'll dip back into it sometime in the future. ^^

I still log on to get the daily login rewards, but don't really play much anymore.  When the expansion was announced, I went back into the game to finish off the season 2 living story and its achievements and complete the luminescence armor set.

I'll probably play a ton once the expansion comes out though.  That is the beauty of Guild Wars 2 though, no monthly payment needed so can come and go as you want.

I loved the original Guild Wars but since it's not supported on Mac I'm considering buying GW2 - I'm just not sure my MacBook Air (13-inch, Early 2014) will be able to play it smoothly. Any advice on this?

I used to play GW2. Got into it because a hot friend of mine suggested it and shared a second account of his with me. I like how pretty the characters look (especially the guys lol)  Was thinking about getting into it again

Oooh sorry but I don't think that's possible unless you're fine with 30fps even at the lowest settings :<
GW2 is a very taxing game. I've seen it drop to 20fps even on gaming desktops when the population is too high.

Pales in comparison to the original, which I kept up with for about four years. Guild Wars 2 lasted a summer. Despite the emphasis on exploration, there just isn't enough diverse content and game modes to encourage extended play. I don't think the expansion will change that.
