If there's one thing I've learned about big industries, it's that most things they do are carefully thought out and based on feedback. I personally find what you're talking about to be kind of boring. And when I see it, I find myself thinking "Just get to it, already". I think that the porn clips are too mainstreamed these days to allow things like that because somebody might get bored.

It's hard to be hard ;D for 8+ hours at a time with bright lights, cameras, and (sometimes unattractive) directors and staff watching you the entire time. You also have to keep in mind that a lot of these guys are gay for pay, some may have low libido because of the nature of their job, and it's also very difficult to maintain an erection while getting fucked (because the blood rushes to your rectum/anus instead of your dick).

You dont get "automatically" erect when you take Viagra. Still need to excite yourself. You gain control over your erection, but it isnt a "non stop" erection.
