It depends on your preference. I like water-based, but most guys hate it. Silicone lube seems to dry up for me, especially when using condoms.
Oil-based lubes should only be used for barebacking.

I like the Cum Lube from Bad Dragon. Super slick great for penetration by the top and makes it easy for the bottom. I also have a new one I've not had the chance to try called Boy Butter. Its a Water Based Creamy kind of lube. I think it will make for very good anal lube. I'll let you know once I've had a chance to try it. Boy Butter would be very messy though so definitely need a towel or something to clean up with afterwards.

Good, old-fashioned Crisco. Yeah, a bit messy, but, boy, does it do the trick. Lube the hole, lube my cock. Vegetable based. Stays greasy, slippery and cleans off easily. Umm, I bought the store brand one time, but it isn't the same. Buy Crisco brand vegetable shortening in the baking aisle of your supermarket. See if the check-out boy smiles.
