American Horror Story

but each season is a different story so it doesn't matter.
Nothing too spoilery:
Word on the street now is that each season is not a separate story but that they are all connected, which for me gives hope to all of them being a little more than a hot mess by the end. Pepper from Asylum is Pepper in Freakshow, the actress is the same but also it has been confirmed it is the same character. There are also a number of examples of characters from the separate seasons having the same surnames & the suggestion is they may be kin. Also Boston figures prominently in all of the series in some form & Vivien Harmon mentions her family coming from Florida, which is exactly where we are right now.

I like how each season is different so everytime its fresh with new story and characters and works well. Loved season 1 and 2 but not so much 3 but have high hopes for this season!
-
Watched the first ep of season 4 last night. Interesting start!
-
I'm a big fan of AHS! Season 2 is my definite fav, Season 3 for me is probably the worst (still excellent though). Season 4 is looking great!
-
I find Season 1 to be my fave but likely because it's just fancy house porn.
-
yeah definitely agree with person above. season 1 is the best
-
So, I just completed Season 1. I love it!
I'm curious about Season 2 so I take a look the first episode and now understand how every season has different story, though they keep some of the actors but different character.
:cheesy2:

Yes! Season 2 is excellent, Jessica Lange is pure perfection. Season 4 is a good competitor

So, I decided to watch Season 3 first, and found this dude so freaking cute, handsome, and hot. Meet Alexander Dreymon :cheesy2: :cheesy2: :cheesy2:
Here is some couple shots from AHS

Another pics that you can find these scenes from gay theme movie made for TV, Christopher and His Kind (2011), we have a bunch of copies here :cheesy2:

And I think he's gay :afr: Too bad… not so many movie or TV credit for him yet :blownose:
-
Okay, wait, what, all these tasty shots of Alexander Dreymon and not one teeny bit of the enema scene? :cheesy2:
-
I'll slip this in here one more time because it seemed to go unnoticed:
The current theory is all the stories of AHS are connected.
-
Yes, but the coonection seems to be very small and doesn't stop someone from seeing the seasons apart.
-
I don't think small, it's called American Horror Story not Stories.
-
Mind you, I also thought Lost was more than just a character study :blind:

Haven't seen it yet! Patient! ;D
-
You got to give props to Patti LuPone being willing to perform an enema in a role.

I haven't saw the other seasons so i will not going to procede into an arguement but from reviews i red from various sites, i haven't found a link that forces the viewer to watch the show from s1 all the way to the new one.
For instance, S1 dealt with haunts and S2 dealt with aliens. Where is the link between the stories that might make me consider that, even remotely, S2 is a prequel to S1? -
Argue? Over TV? You came to the right man
Each series does stand on it's own, you don't have to see one to understand the other. I am just saying there is a theory that all the the stories are connected which personally I think is backed up by the fact that it is called American Horror Story.
Season 2 Asylum deals with an asylum, aliens are a very small, almost insignificant aspect of that story in my opinion. Asylum has Pepper though and Freakshow also has Pepper. Same actress, same character, different seasons.
Each season has had, in my opinion (not a humble one), many loose ends & aspects which I would call 'messy storytelling' that I think might be cleared up if in fact it is 1 story come the inevitable final season.
The link from Asylum to Murder House is/could be the Harmons have moved West from Boston, the asylum is outside Boston. Tenuous? Possibly but it certainly doesn't disprove theory.
! I don't want to ruin anyone's viewing experience but it seems a lot of people continue to consider each season a strong, independent, black woman who don't need no man. Wait, what, am I going to break out into the color purple now? No, no this isn't an argument simply because I accept I am not always right but I also know I am never wrong.
