It's been a long time since the first time I heard phenomenal voice of Amy Lee,lead vocalist of USA based band [desc=Disappearence]Evanescence[/desc].. To be exact I was 9…11 years ago I was watching a Music Channel and there was live streaming from Cologne,Germany.. it was a music fest as I remember and Evanescence was on stage ... It was my first and wonderful experience related to Evanescence...I kept listening to Ev, then I became obsessed and I do so far ..
Why Evanescence and amy lee? because she has a very deep vocal , she can really touch the soul and lyrics are very deep as well, if you listen to My Immortal,Hello,Missing,like you,give unto me & ect. you would see what I'm talking about .When you cried I'd wipe away all of you tears,When you scream I'd fight away all of your fears and I held your hand through all of these years,but you still have all of me…
It sounds so dark , deep .. touching .. haunting … I know all the lyrics created by EV.. I can actually sing all of the songs ... by the way , Amy writes all the lyrics by herself, she is a composer , painter , vocalist .. she does everything by herself ... She is an embodiment of real artist . I have so much respect for her and for her fans cause they keep listening to her even though she hasn't released new album since 2011 except new soundtrack album called "aftermath" and a wonderful single called "lockdown" ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hw2AFhU3qdw
All in all, I wanna say that Evanescence (amy lee herself) had huge influence on my life and my musical taste … thanks to her I have quite good taste though ...
