Is it possible to download just sections of a torrent?

Some torrents such as this one (https://www.gaytor.rent/details.php?id=1490d3c24f6eda33ef8b4dcc941d2c5933ce8cbe0a3b52d4) say in the description that they include several files (8 in this case.)
i only want 2 of the 8. is there a way to selectively download only those 2 or am i forced to download everything to get what i want?

Yes it is possible, you download the torrent as usual, and when opening with your client only select the files you want or need, this is helpful specially when you come across huge collections.

so when i download the torrent, i get 8 files instead of 1?

There is only one torrent file which enables you to download one or more shared files through your torrent client. In the case of a video pack (multiple files shared through one torrent file), just uncheck the ones you don't want when the torrent file opens on your client (e.g. Bittorrent).

A picture might be useful.
When you open a torrent with multiple files you should see this (bottom half of uTorrent 'open').
Just check those you want and uncheck those you don't want and click OK.
Note the buttons on the right where you can select all or none

There is no option on GT.ru that allows a user to select which files to download when there are more than one.
However, after pressing download, when the torrent selection pulls up in your torrent client, you can select which of the files to download. So, this can only be done from inside your torrent client.

I wonder if I download just one file from a collection torrent ,how to measure the amount of the downloads? Can only that section I downloaded be measured ? so my ratio will not be that low??

Yes, your torrent client will send in 30 minutes intervals (and when the download selected is finished) how much it has downloaded and possibly uploaded to others. So only the amount of data actually downloaded will count.
