what exactly are the teachings of Scientology especially when it comes to homosexuality and sex?

Hubbard published the book Dianetics: The Modern Science of Mental health in which he criticizes homosexuality and views it as a bodily illness and a sexual perversion. He states that homosexuals have no redeeming social value.
There were instances where homosexuals were given therapy to 'cure' them of overt homosexuality.
Some time later Hubbard said he had rather distanced himself from the viewpoint that Scientology could dictate one's sexuality.
I do not know people in my immediate environment who follow these teachings, but I do know that they have to be secretive of their religion, since they've signed a contract of some sorts and paid quite a sum of money to become a member of Scientology. From what I've read they've got the same viewpoints on same-gender relationships as strict Christians, something that Scientology will definitely try to contradict. But well, actions speak louder than words.
