i don't give a damn, my preferred ending has to be one from a horror movie, and this time i will go with the classic : Carrie.
not as powerful as the final encounter between Carrie and her  mom described in the book, but still super acting.
then that final scare, obvious as hell, but still a nice final touch.

          Truly horror mania  😉

I love Carrie too, that why I put it as representative. Though, I don't really like the latest remake, Carrie (2013) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1939659/. I rated it 6, while the original Carrie (1976), 8.

i like a few elements of the 2013 remake, like Carrie being  mischievous & revengeful, but i think Chloë Grace Moretz and even Juliane Moore were bad casting choices.

I think Juliane Moore cast is a good choice. I've seen some of her film as "trouble" mother with good acting. But, I do agree that casting final for Chloë is a massive failure. Its mean I don't like (I like her in as Hit-Girl and another horror "Let Me In"), but Carrie just don't fit her.

Juliane Moore is a superb actress and Chloë  is on her way to it, but there was 0 chemistry between them. and i personally think neither of them was good for the role.
