<![CDATA[Anal sex: Source of non-STD Infections]]>There are bacteria all over your body but don't cause any problem. we call these bacteria normal flora. however they are only harmless when they are in their own home. transfer them to place foreign to them, problems will start to happen. this isn't just the case with person-person transmission but also system-system in single individual.

our anuses are not exception. when performing oro-anal or penile-anal sex, we risk contracting these bacteria and might get Urinary tract infection or gastrointestinal infections.

Some people might ignore this, but preventing penile-anal sex or oral-penile sex infection can easily be done by the use of condoms. oro-anal sex however provide less barrier. most pornography actors will do lavage before shooting. but is that sufficient?

what do you do to guard yourself against these problems?

Your best bet would be to use anti bacterial soap made for the body, not hand wash as that's too harsh for your sensitive bits.

Coli, the very bacteria present in vegetables that cause an outbreak in some European countries not long ago. even though 2 people might carry E Coli as their normal flora, that doesn't mean they are immune to each others variants.

alcohol is a good disinfectant. might want to do that to the anus itself before performing, rather than just mouthwash after. we wash and cooked our food before we eat them don't we? olive oil is another good disinfectant.

what else can be done as the precautions against this problem?
