Not really new here anymore since I've been here already over two months but I still want to say hello to all of you!

Even though we have castles, etc. It's not as large as most estates you have.

The Netherlands best feature is probably that you can cycle almost everywhere (might take a while to arrive at a far destination).

So far I've only managed Italy and Cyprus, so I'm not particularly well travelled. However, I'm in the middle of training to be a nurse, so hopefully some day in the not too distant future I'll get to do more!

After the war they build cheap and quite ugly buildings to make living and working in Rotterdam possible again. Nowdays a lot of buildings have deferred maintenance because it's too expensive to keep it in shape. Therefor most buildings will be replaced in time for new ones with the newest technology build in.

I don't follow every detail of the news. Hopefully the problems will be history soon. Nothing is more worse than seeing and hearing that others suffer.

If I have to choose between those two cities, I would go for Amsterdam. Rotterdam isn't my kind of city at all.

The capital of the Netherlands! You've not visited the Netherlands if you only been in Amsterdam and Schiphol Airport. I can't say that I've been elsewhere than London and it's suburbs when I've visited the UK. Still planing to go to York and a few other cities and places.
