<![CDATA[Can I seed torrents which are on my laptop from my desktop?]]>I downloaded a couple of torrents yesterday on my laptop, but I wanted to seed them from my desktop - as I use it more often and can have it turned on for more than 2 hours without it turning into a furnace. Is there any way of doing this? I'm using uTorrent on both pcs.

See our "Guides" board in the forum for how to do that.

In short:
1/ Copy the files to your desktop
2/ Open the torrent in your µTorrent on the desktop and direct the "download" to the directory to which you've copied the files

Attention: if after step 2/ the desktop starts to download instead of a check and seeding, something went wrong and you should stop the torrent, remove it (not the files) and retry the operation. µTorrent didn't find the files.
