I just wanted to finally introduce myself. I have a nice collection to share with all my new friends on GayTorrent.ru.

One thing about my shares is that the PC they're on is on virtually 24/7 since it a media PC /server for my house, so long term sharing/seeding is a snap. Just wondering if I need to do anything special on my end like keep uTorrent open, or whatever.

Thanks for this awesome site

Cheers

If you use QTM, you are using Windows? Strange for a Power PC ...

They would only show in uTorrent if you opened them in uTorrent. There is nothing to stop you downloading your torrents and checking them with uTorrent - at least I don't think there is

I need a little guidance as I'm kind of a newbie at the torrent stuff - I've mostly used Napster, then LimeWire and now, SoulSeek for downloading and sharing with friends.

I have uTorrent on. I started using the Quick Torrent Maker available on GayTorrent.ru. I've made 2 Torrents so far, and they seemed to be uploaded. But I don't see them in uTorrent. Do I need to save them somewhere? Is it auto-saved somewhere? My setup is unique in that it's in an upgraded PC tower that's 5+ years old and used for Media only - it's attached to the TV in my living room and connected via Wi-Fi. It is only used for Media playing and downloading/sharing and streaming from Netflix, etc. and Skyping from my living room. All files and docs are stored on attached external drives. Am I missing anything? I want to be a member in good standing so I can continue to download and share more files. Barring accident power outages or other technical difficulties, this PC is on and online 24/7, so I can seed/share my Torrrents virtually 24/7, which seems like it would be useful for seeding/sharing in the long term - is that like a hub or a node?

Thanks for your help!

Yes, when seeding things, you need to keep µTorrent running.
