My ratio allows me 4 downloads per day - today I added the 4th to my torrent downloader only to realise that I already the file from another site…

I deleted the torrent without downloading, do I get this ''ratio credit'' back or do I lose it even though I did not download it?

If you didn't download the movie, no download was added to your accounts statistics and therefore nothing can or needs to be given back.

If you speak about the number of .torrent files permitted for 24 hours, not nothing will be given back. There is no way to know if and when you'll use it.
