<![CDATA[Open signup]]>I was wondering if open signups have been stopped since people can now buy invitations.

I used to let people know on GTN when .ru was having an open signup. If there are no more plans for one, I can let them know that and give them a link to the signup notice. A small problem is that people there will not have been following the bitcoin discussion.

Aside from what Apathetic pointed out, another positive result might be users valuing their accounts more and trying to be good members.

My edit. Most sites I know make the exchange of anything other than  :bighug: for an invite a flogging offence.

I have no great feeling one way or another, I just wanted to pass any change of policy on 🙂
