I am constantly asked to sign in as I navigate and the ads are getting more and more intrusive. In the past few days, I have been experiencing click-based pop-ups that open new pages and ads that loudly play sound, neither of which ever happened before.

Is anyone else experiencing these same issues? I know G-T.net offers an ad-free experience if you pay, but I am leery of having a financial record given the G-T.org client list, suspicious that my bank would even allow the transaction since it would not let me sign up with a well known seedbox company, and am not crypto savvy enough to go that route either.

Even with AdBlock Plus, it was getting extremely annoying to click on something and suddenly be greeted by a pornado.

I hope I made it clear that I understand sites don't run for free. I have been a member at multiple porn studios over the years, both before and after I got into torrenting, but I really value the fact that torrenting allows me to sample, get things I can no longer pay anyone for legitimately, see what is new, access fan-made stuff, etc. If it weren't for the fact that I will never be ok with streaming only subscriptions and the ridiculous cost of RAM these days, I would be signing up for multiple sites that recent torrents made me take another look at.

I have even paid my way out of ratio at a torrent site before, but that "lifetime" of value turned out to not to be very long. Also, I worry that there is a thin line related to torrent sites accepting payments that makes both them and their members more vulnerable. The only way I would donate these days if it can be totally anonymous, and like I said, I'm not down with crypto. Maybe something with gift cards I pay for in cash...

I was not sure if an ad blocker would work since the ads were part of the site (and I understand why that is), but it got rid of the most annoying ones and seemed to help with some of my related issues.

So I can't agree or disagree with the speculations. I can however say that the site owner did change advertisers a few days ago,, and they were VERY aggressive with their ad stream (pop-overs, opening new tabs, etc.). That has changed in the last several hours, and the ads are MUCH LESS aggressive/obnoxious now.

Obviously I can only speculate but my understanding is that through affiliation partnerships you only get revenue when someone coming from your affiliate ID buys a subscription, so it doesn't matter how many users see or interact with the ads, you only get money once they subscribe.

No need to mention that there's a huge conflict of interest here, as they are completely subject to Wisebits in a way that they aren't to any other vendor, so people coming from G-T to Faphouse will not translate to Faphouse content being ingested into G-T, so essentially they are redirecting their own user base to the competition.

Doesn't make any sense to my two brain cells.

I see it from 2 points of view.

1: As staff, ads help pay the bills for running websites. I'm not involved with the money side of this site, but many, many moons ago, I ran my own site hosting online racing games, and the server costs, plus the software, were outrageous.

2: As my own person, I fucking hate most ads. I don't mind if there are some on the sides that don't interfere or slow me down.

I look on there daily and never get anything that interferes with my browsing. No ads, no repeated requests to log in, nothing. I do have a couple of ad-blockers in my browser but I don't remember any issues even before I added them.

If you aren't as easily annoyed as me, perhaps you should consider the possibility of using ublock origin or other adblocker of your preference. Tbh i never understood how people are able to surf the web without one, it's so much more than just annoying but very dangerous as well.
