That can often give momentary slowdowns. Seldom lasts for very long.

Even after flushing the DNS cache manually on all my servers, as well as on my routers, I seem to be getting in with little to no delay in the DNS resolution happening, so it must have just been a weird glitch on my end, which does happen sometimes. DNS caching on the servers themselves will get flushed every 3 or 4 hours, even if the TTL on any given record is longer, as I have a cron job setup on all my DNS servers to automatically update the root zone every 3 or 4 hours (don't remember which), and at the same time, will flush the DNS cache to make any changes that have taken place across the internet take place a lot faster. Usually, most DNS caching will last for anywhere from the TTL (Time To Live) value of the record, or for up to 48 hours. I don't want to have to wait that long, so I make sure my DNS servers all refresh much more often so that my networks don't take nearly as long as most for changes to propagate across my network, and new registrations or changes in registration don't take nearly as long to hit my network. Even the DNS cache in my routers is set to refresh in the same intervals so that unless I don't reboot my devices, or at least flush the DNS cache in the devices themselves manually, it only takes a few hours for any changes to hit my network, and I can be sure that the odd time the root zone does somehow change (which only happens every few months), I'm always up to date, without having to constantly be on top of it.

It's either your ISP is blocking their domain, or more likely, your ISP's DNS servers are choking because of high server loads from their customers, combined with the fact that there's a very obvious delay in the DNS resolution. Normally, my DNS servers are quite on the ball and are rather quick to respond, but for some reason, when I tried to open it just a little while ago, it seemed to take an unusually long time for my DNS servers to even offer a response to resolve the hostname.

Perhaps you're in a country where some such sites are being filtered?

I just tried it now and while it did take a long time for the DNS to finally resolve, it did actually manage to load. If it's not your provider, perhaps it's a DNS issue? I am my own DNS provider, so for my DNS servers to have trouble resolving the address at first, there's obviously something not right.
