it is actually not that hard to keep a good ratio, you're not required to donate or spend a penny whatsoever. if you're struggling with it, you might need to learn about standard practices on private trackers. unlike public trackers where you can download whatever you want with no limitations, in private trackers you need to maintain a healthy balance of download/upload.
