The best example is snuff films and Best Death videos. Best Death videos portray snuff and necrophilia, but it's immediately clear that it's all fake since the "victims" can't fake being dead to save their lives; pun intended.

As pointed out, proper studios are generally trusted until/unless proven otherwise.

Cobra got caught up due to a certain person and his boyfriend using highly accurate fake IDs. They weren't prosecuted because the fakes were so good. It's also why we don't outright ban their stuff, just the "offending" stuff.

Still on this matter, producers are not required by law to have any statement or record-keeping address printed anywhere in the video files themselves, which basically means you or anyone else cannot realistically distinguish compliant vs non-compliant media.

This is why US-based platforms still require creators to submit IDs and consent forms of everyone featured in a shooting, even for content produced outside of the US.

For self-hosted content, or content originally hosted outside of the US, that's a different story.

Now back to the site, when the videos are from a well-known producer, or features well-known actors/performers, it is generally accepted, which is why content from sites such as Say Uncle and Boys Halfway House are still allowed despite their selling point revolving around coercion/exploitation.

Under banned content, it says "Rape / Sleep Rape (regardless of whether it is real or appears to be real) "

I'm curious about what is the line where "Rough fucking" would cross into such banned content.

Studio porn usually has documented consent from all models, even when it involves dom-sub rough fucking, which can sometimes appear rape-y, or have a model "resisting" as some sort of fantasy, so what is the line there?

Amateur porn hopefully involves consent from all models, but being amateur there is no address where you can go to check the documentation. So, if amateur porn involves dom-sub rough fucking which could appear rape-y, would it have a different "You crossed the line" than studio porn? thanks
