It's full of security holes, and has exploits available for RCE and DNS binding attacks.......

That was released around 15 years ago.

Other trackers also specifically block that version of uTorrent - for the above reasons.

It's ancient, but it still works well. It's the last uTorrent before it was loaded with bloatware and other crap. I won't touch any uTorrent after that.

Does what it says on the tin, but has a lot more options than many of the other clients I've tried. Like @ianfontinell I love having the ability to set categories and tags for my downloads, and automate a lot of them based on where they came from.

My only complaint is that I don't get the best speeds, I feel like there's something about it that is capping me.

I have tried another client called BiglyBT and if I'm being honest, I almost had an aneurysm, that thing is made for highly functional autistic people, see if you make the cut.

I love the "tag" facility, which is clear, simple to use, and helps me keep things organised.

I used uTorrent for a long time, but wouldn't willingly go back.
