I’ve noticed that since the site switched to the new design, it seems to use quite a bit more CPU on my computer.

When I first open a page and do nothing, CPU usage is already around 12%. If I scroll up and down, it jumps to about 20%–30%. That’s way higher than the old design, which felt much lighter.

Just wanted to report it in case it helps track down a performance issue.
