Excellent. We're where we need to be! -
@trkr4life OK. Where do you want the file to be while you seed it? Do you really want it in your "Downloads" folder? I suspect "no", and that isn't where it is right now... which is what the problem is.
-
so should i make another folder and move the files to that one?
-
@trkr4life Yeah. But before that, where is it now? Do you have a folder within "Downloads" called "Downloaded"? Or is that folder somewhere else?
-
i have a folder called downloads in my download folder yes
-
@trkr4life Hmm. OK. It should be seeing it then.
In your last screenshot, the name of the file was hidden. Is that EXACTLY the same as the name the torrent has? If you do any screenshots, make sure things like that are shown in full, not truncated. Saves you having to do another.
No need this time, so long as those names are exactly the same.
-
If you need to so you can check, you can cancel that popup for now so you can get to other things. You can just click the torrent again to bring it back. "Cancel" not "OK" though.
-
here is whats inside my download folder

-
@trkr4life OK. Is that subfolder where you want to keep any files you're seeding? If so, I'd actually rename it to make it clearer. It might get confusing if you're storing everything you've downloaded in there, but you're only seeding some of them.
-
ok i changed the name to torrents
-
@trkr4life LOL. That's still confusing. Can I suggest you set up a new subfilder, called something like "Seeding" ... hmmm .... this could get complicated, and I';m guessing you're getting very frustrated and bored by now!
-
ok i changed it to seeding no i'm not bored i just wanna get this figured out you must be really pissed by now
-
How about "MY Seeding Files" and you only put files you've created a torrent for in there? It gets more complicated, but let's get today sorted and get more clever another time.
-
LOL, No. Beleive it or not, I'm kinda enjoying it. Plus, you get a little surprise at the end.

-
Leave it at "Seeding". We are starting to cross messages!
-
so now does the torrent just go in there or does the actual video i made the torrent of go in there too?
-
@trkr4life OK. Let's agree some words, cos it can get confusing:
.torrent is the torrent file you created with qB, and the one you downloaded from GayTor. Those are two different files. You only use the one you created in making the torrent page. GayTor uses that to create its own .torrent file, but they're not the same. Once you've uploaded yours, you never need it again.
torrent is, for all intents and purposes, the page and/or entry you see on GayTor that you created.
Files(s) is/are the contents of the torreent you created. In this case, just one "Angel of..... .mp4"
So, for now there only needs to be one file in your "Seeding" directory - that "Angel of... .mp4". OK?
-
ok so i will leave the torrent file and the video file in the folder for now! gotcha
i cant wait for the surprise lol!
-
i meant to say that i will leave my mp4 file in there sorry
-
@trkr4life OK. You only need that .torrent file for this, now. It can get a bit more complex than that, but that's for another day.
So now, we need to tell the .torrent where it can find the file it needs. So launch it again, if you closed the popup before.
Top left, it says "Save at". In that box it should say "C:\Users\User\Downloads" i.e. what it said last time.
Yes?
