Namely the movie Wreck It Ralph, a brillian 2012 Disney animation about what arcade games get up to when customers leave.
I remember vaguely the hand-held console games of the 80s, and now look back to them with nostalgic charm.
So crude, so simplistic and yet so captivating at the time.
The movie was so great I wanted to share my enthusiasm.
The crudely pixellated characters, the more 3D-rendered ones and well-paced script worked for me totally.
And what a brilliant idea, making the 2-D level jumping games into lush landscapes.
Just loved it
