It does register whenever a torrent is being downloaded and updates my seed bonus. Does anyone know why this might be happening or a fix for it?

What is your total downloaded from the site as shown on your profile page?

What is your total downloaded from the site as shown on your profile page?

What is your reported ratio on your profile page?

Please take a screenshot of the Uploaded column in your client and hang onto it for a day or 2

After a couple of days of uploading take another screenshot and post both here, along with the refreshed info from your profile page.

I'd like to rule out that this isn't simply an issue of scale. I've uploaded nearly 130TB over the years, so it takes a fair bit of upload traffic to see any movement. providing the info above will make it possible to calculate what we think your numbers should be and establish if there's actually an issue and how big it is.

Nothing leaps out as an "Ah ha!" moment.

I'd recommend sending a message to the Helpdesk from the main site. Give them all the info you've put above, and name one or two specific torrents they can take a look at. If you're also able to grab a screenshot or two - like the one I posted - and include that, that may be helpful.

The Helpdesk have access to the behind-the-scenes data, so they can compare what should be happening with what is actually happening. That's a good place to start investigating why it isn't!

Adding more information as suggested

I am using qBittorrent

It is happening with torrents I've downloaded and then become a seeder of

Yes, the client is showing an uploaded amount.

No, there isn't any error messages showing that point to an issue with the torrent

I did check the tracker number as suggested and they do match

It is happening right now, but its an issue I've been having regularly over the last several months, so not a one time incidental issue.

For example:

What torrent client are you using? (e.g. qBittorrent, uTorrent, Transmission, etc)

Does this happen with all torrents you seed? Just ones you've uploaded yourself? Just ones you've downloaded first then become a seeder of?

Is your client definitely showing an uploaded amount? (1)

Is there any message showing? (2) (e.g. "Unregistered torrent")

Does the tracker number shown for the torrent match your own reference, shown under "User details" in your profile? (3)

Is this happenning right now, with new / existing torrents or are you talking about traffic from a couple of day ago? There was an issue for several hours then, where information wasn't being collected in real time. It did eventually resolve itself, but if you had stopped and restarted your client during that time, you would most likely have lost any traffic data. (Though I believe that would have been both traffic down and traffic up.)
