Within ten years, 41 percent of female couples had divorced, compared to 27 percent of male couples and 22 percent of different-sex couples. After adjusting for age, education, and nationality, female couples were still over twice as likely to divorce as different-sex couples, and about 20 percent more likely than male couples.
