<p dir="auto">I was wondering as an "easy question" <img src="https://community.gaytor.rent/assets/plugins/nodebb-plugin-emoji/emoji/apple/1f605.png?v=57695cee877" class="not-responsive emoji emoji-apple emoji--sweat_smile" style="height:23px;width:auto;vertical-align:middle" title="😅" alt="😅" /> if admins could tell percentage of people are using QTM to validate/upload their torrents? That seems like an interesting number!</p>
<p dir="auto">As a hard question, can you tell over the last year (etc) how many QTM vs non-QTM uploads have had a low Video:Image ratio? That's the truely interesting one!!</p>
<p dir="auto">...</p>
<p dir="auto">I've seen sooo many people complain about thumbnails <img src="https://community.gaytor.rent/assets/plugins/nodebb-plugin-emoji/emoji/apple/1f644.png?v=57695cee877" class="not-responsive emoji emoji-apple emoji--face_with_rolling_eyes" style="height:23px;width:auto;vertical-align:middle" title="🙄" alt="🙄" /><img src="https://community.gaytor.rent/assets/plugins/nodebb-plugin-emoji/emoji/apple/1f611.png?v=57695cee877" class="not-responsive emoji emoji-apple emoji--expressionless" style="height:23px;width:auto;vertical-align:middle" title="😑" alt="😑" /></p>
<p dir="auto">If QTM is still under development ( <a class="plugin-mentions-user plugin-mentions-a" href="/user/geographer" aria-label="Profile: geographer">@<bdi>geographer</bdi></a> ? ), could I suggest these "simple" tweaks;</p>
<ul>
<li>
<p dir="auto">[<img src="https://community.gaytor.rent/assets/plugins/nodebb-plugin-emoji/emoji/apple/1f4d7.png?v=57695cee877" class="not-responsive emoji emoji-apple emoji--green_book" style="height:23px;width:auto;vertical-align:middle" title="📗" alt="📗" />FAQ]: add a button to open the guide (eg to the right of the "Upload Torrent" button, called "FAQ")</p>
</li>
<li>
<p dir="auto">[<img src="https://community.gaytor.rent/assets/plugins/nodebb-plugin-emoji/emoji/apple/1f4d7.png?v=57695cee877" class="not-responsive emoji emoji-apple emoji--green_book" style="height:23px;width:auto;vertical-align:middle" title="📗" alt="📗" />Thumbnail]: a button to open the latest thread about video thumbnails and programs (button to the right of "Upload" and "FAQ", "Thumbnails"? aligned left from Quit still with an expanding gap still)</p>
</li>
<li>
<p dir="auto">"Stats". new row after the Upload/FilePath row (or the space to the right of categories). A grid to show<br />
"Files found:|100<br />
Videos:|80<br />
Img2Vid ratio:|<em>0.2</em><br />
Named Thumbnail Ratio:| <em>0.01</em>  <img src="https://community.gaytor.rent/assets/plugins/nodebb-plugin-emoji/emoji/apple/1f62d.png?v=57695cee877" class="not-responsive emoji emoji-apple emoji--sob" style="height:23px;width:auto;vertical-align:middle" title="😭" alt="😭" /><br />
[Rescan]"</p>
</li>
</ul>
<p dir="auto">My thinking: easy to scan for movie files, then matching filesnames elsewhere. If there is 100% matching vids to pics, gold star to the uploader! 🤩</p>
<p dir="auto">Second: informing the uploader as early as possible. Instant feedback reward. Dopamine for a smilie face, potential reaction from downloaders. Enough hesitation to check forum thread how to do it.</p>
<p dir="auto">If there is a Github instead, happy to put money-where-my-mouth-is and contribute there. On the QTM page it has a broken link to a "known bugs" forum page and my searches didn't get me far</p>
<p dir="auto">Thanks for consideration <img src="https://community.gaytor.rent/assets/plugins/nodebb-plugin-emoji/emoji/apple/1f61c.png?v=57695cee877" class="not-responsive emoji emoji-apple emoji--stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye" style="height:23px;width:auto;vertical-align:middle" title="😜" alt="😜" /><img src="https://community.gaytor.rent/assets/plugins/nodebb-plugin-emoji/emoji/apple/1f49a.png?v=57695cee877" class="not-responsive emoji emoji-apple emoji--green_heart" style="height:23px;width:auto;vertical-align:middle" title="💚" alt="💚" /></p>

I think most people are either creating their torrents manually with their client or using <a href="https://community.gaytor.rent/topic/65942/software-release-gaytor-rent-upload-utility?page=1">this utility.</a></p>

This means, nowhere in the process a torrent is flagged as QTM or non-QTM. The only trace a QTM upload leaves is the comment section inside the torrent itself, which you can only see after you download the torrent file.</p>
<p dir="auto">idk who the person you tagged is, but QTM was developed by joker, last update was in 2018 so we can safely assume it is abandonware by now.</p>
