"Iran nuclear deal" of Obama-Biden did have good points, in terms of extensive inspections.

Problem was, it cemented "Islamic Republic" power with vast financial aid. ("pallets of cash")

There must be middle way between 2 extremes. One extreme is "Let's invade & destroy IR". Other is "Let's sell out to IR, cement it for generations".

I daresay Trump aims for "Let's destroy IR nuclear program - but leave IR in power - but weakened. Iranians might overthrow IR, later."

That would be middle way - If it works.

Narratively, Trump strikes were effective becuz they stopped both extremes - for now.
