As for the technical aspect of it, it's always from a fixed camera (because I reckon if you tried moving the camera at all you'd vomit all over your lovely VR headset thank to motion sickness!) and usually shot with a 180 degree viewing angle, so turning your head to look out to the sides just shows black beyond the limits. Since a lot of it is POV it's geared towards just looking ahead as the performers do their thing.

Don't get me wrong, sometimes a video can be nice to watch. I think my fave was one with Johannes Lars doing a solo by the pool.
