In Oct 2023, Jeb Boasberg sentenced a couple convicted of nonviolent misdemeanors for Jan 6 to prison. The husband, Christopher Price, had just learned his cancer returned--Boasberg sentenced him to 45 days in federal prison.

Boasberg sent his wife, Cynthia Bellinger, to federal prison for four months on same misdemeanors.

Boasberg said in court, "I completely agree that your actions were not violent, you didn't assault anyone, you didn't destroy anyone, you didn't steal anything" - and sent a Cancer Family to prison anyway.
